COVID-19 has brought online teaching and learning into the collective imagination like never before. But Distance Education (DE) has had a long history both in the US and around the globe offering rewarding and well-paid careers for those with advanced degrees. In this interactive workshop, we will discuss:

1. Fundamental DE concepts so that you can ace your next job interview for a career involving teaching and learning at a distance.
2. Skills and competencies, you can further develop to become a competitive candidate for DE Careers.
3. Good places to search for DE jobs and tips for your CV and resume for these jobs.
4. Many ways to use DE approaches for your current role at your school with the goal of becoming an expert in the field.
