In this seminar, Kim Greenwell will answer your questions about the process of working with an academic editor. Too often, people still feel sheepish about working with an editor and because they don't talk about it, there is little knowledge sharing about the experience. From finding someone appropriate to exploring the various services an editor can provide, Kim will review some of the most common issues and concerns, and explain how to navigate the process effectively.

About the Facilitator
Kim Greenwell has been working as an academic editor for nine years. After achieving candidacy as a PhD in Sociology at the University of Michigan, she decided to pursue an alternate career in academia - one in which she could help others to work through their ideas, develop arguments, and generally survive the pressures and perils of publishing with their sanity intact. With the help of the internet, she works with graduate students and faculty throughout the US and abroad, providing both stylistic and developmental editing.
